Tom's funeral took place on April 12, 2023. The humanist ceremony was held at The Old Lodge on Minchinhampton Common, led by James Showers from Family Tree Funerals (Stroud), with a beautiful eulogy by Elli Lilburn, a lovely memory by Edie Lilburn-Quick (Tom's youngest niece, age 14), music (Bach and Miles Davis). There was a torrential downpour during the ceremony, but as it was ending, the sun came out.

Tom was buried (green burial) at the idyllic Brimscombe Cemetery, a beautiful place to rest for eternity. The rain held off (mainly), but those who had them were glad of wellington boots and umbrellas.

Back at The Old Lodge, we celebrated Tom's life with a wake, attended by dozens of loving family and friends.
